Work on this project so far focuses on automating the reading of mammography images using artificial intelligence. The goal is to reduce radiologist workload while improving cancer detection rates.

Collaborators

This work is being carried out in collaboration with Memorial University’s Faculty of Medicine, Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (NL Health Services), and researchers at Anqing Normal University in China.

The international collaboration includes work on generative morphological alignment of multi-view mammograms using spatially conditioned diffusion. Read the publication.
