Nicholas Wells is a PhD candidate at Memorial University of Newfoundland where he also received his B.Sc (Hons). His research interests include representation and compression of cinematic light field videos, the application of immersive displays for data visualization. Nicholas’s work has included the development of real-time light field compression techniques, and the development of high resolution light field video capturing and viewing techniques for both 2D and VR/AR viewers.
